About: VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Events Coordinator to join their team. The center is dedicated to improving the lives of Virginians through cutting-edge cancer care, research, community engagement, education, and training.
Requirements: Minimum of three years of full-time experience in events in a fast-paced, complex environment; exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills; exceptional planning and organizational skills; ability to build relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, build and maintain accurate budgets; advanced knowledge of the event industry and best practices
