Position: Safety Director (Hiring Immediately)
About: This position is based in an Operating Company (OpCo) and focuses on leading the implementation of health, safety, environmental (HSE), and security programs. The role involves establishing and executing a corporate-driven program and OpCo-specific strategy to support Sysco’s overall HSE objectives and crisis preparedness goals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or certifications with equivalent experience; 5-7 years of hands-on environmental and safety program management experience in a warehousing/distribution, manufacturing, or transportation operation; Considerable experience with occupational safety, transportation safety, and environmental compliance is preferred; Has attained or is working toward certification in safety (ASP-CSP); Must possess a valid Driver’s License and provide proof of liability coverage meeting Company standards
