Position: Renal Psychosocial Support Specialist (Hiring Immediately)
About: The role is at a facility providing psychosocial services to patients, including in-center and home dialysis patients. The position involves utilizing Social Work Theory of Human Behavior and accepted methods of social work practice to promote positive adjustment, rehabilitation, and improved quality of life for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. The role includes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to inform, educate, and support staff in understanding the emotional, psychological, and behavioral impact of the disease on patients and their families, ensuring comprehensive quality care for patients.
Requirements: Masters in Social Work; must have state-required license; 0 – 2 years’ related experience
