Position: PROGRAM & EVENT COORDINATOR
About: The Chicago Park District is seeking a Program and Event Coordinator to coordinate special programs and events to bring programming resources to parks that would otherwise be unavailable. The coordinator will work on planning, overseeing citywide programs, and collaborating with partner organizations to execute projects, programs, and events.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field supplemented by three (3) years of related experience; knowledge of education and curriculum design principles; ability to understand and implement elements of community-based programming; interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; experience with One Drive, Excel, Active net, and Power Point; organization and planning skills
