Position: Porter – Bethesda (Part time)
About: Levain Bakery, a renowned bakery founded by competitive triathletes and passionate bakers Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald in New York City in 1995, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Porter to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery spaces, maintaining the highest health code standards, and supporting the team in their daily operations. The bakery is known for its iconic 6-ounce chocolate chip walnut cookie that has gained international acclaim, and it continues to uphold its core values of unity, hard work, integrity, proactivity, and enjoyment in all aspects of its operations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; prior cleaning or custodian experience preferred; ability to lift/push 10-50 pounds, stand for a 10-hour shift, and work collaboratively in a team setting; attention to detail and adaptability to fast-paced environments
