Position: Part Time Servers
About: This position is for a part-time Server at an assisted living facility. The Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met with a pleasant customer service approach, and maintaining clean dining areas according to guidelines.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to adhere to assisted living principles; ability to perform all position responsibilities adequately; ability to maintain confidentiality; acceptable attendance record and adherence to work schedule; cleanliness, good grooming, and consistent adherence to dress requirements; organization and time management skills with minimal supervision; mature behavior and attitude; ability and willingness to learn and teach new skills; professional interaction with residents, the public, and co-workers; occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, 30 lbs regularly; clear English speaking and writing ability; ability to spend long periods on feet, ambulate quickly, and tolerate extreme temperatures; free of non-treated communicable disease; First Aid Certified; ability to work safely and recognize dangerous situations; willingness to follow all policies and procedures; neat, accurate, dependable, and maintains a clean workspace; willingness to work longer shifts, holidays, overtime, and a seven-day schedule if required.
