Position: Medical Receptionist
About: American Family Care is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S., providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Each center focuses on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers’ compensation, and occupational medicine, equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability. AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC, and this position works directly with a franchised business location.
Requirements: Proficient in the use of computer software; warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills; team-player able to multi-task effectively; excellent verbal and communication skills; adaptable in different situations; medical Secretary certification or Associate Degree a plus; experience in a medical office setting a plus; prior urgent care or experience a plus
