Position: Kitchen Manager / Cook for a Children’s Daycare
About: Responsible for preparing daily nutritious meals and meeting USDA Requirements for students aged from Infants through 6 years old in an atmosphere of efficiency and cleanliness within the CCFP Program. Duties include meeting CCFP requirements, preparing weekly menus, purchasing, and serving meals, maintaining kitchen equipment, supervising an Assistant Cook, and record-keeping. Must have or be willing to acquire a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification and have training and experience in food preparation and nutrition. Ideal to have kitchen experience in a children’s daycare setting and ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification. Background check and clearance required. Additional duties as assigned.
