Position: Jr Sous Chef
About: Bruno Hospitality, a professional kitchen environment located in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking an experienced and passionate Jr. Sous Chef to join their team. The Jr. Sous Chef will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef/Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations and food preparation for large-scale catering events.
Requirements: Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; ability to work in a standing position for long periods, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally; maintain effective working relationships with kitchen management and catering staff; communicate professionally and promote a positive work environment; advanced understanding of professional cooking, equipment, and knife handling; ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
