Position: Jail – Cook (EXTRA HELP)
About: This Extra Help position involves the preparation of all food and supervision of inmates in the kitchen at either of the County’s Correctional Facilities. The position is responsible for cooking, supervising inmates in food handling, preparation, sanitation, and service.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in food management and large-scale food service; knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety precautions; skilled in communication, establishing relationships, and food preparation; ability to supervise inmate workers and maintain sanitation in a kitchen environment
