Berkeley Dining, part of the University of California, Berkeley, is a self-operated dining program focused on culinary excellence, social responsibility, and supporting the living/learning environment of customers. With over 12,000 meal plan holders, Berkeley Dining serves more than 5 million meals annually across various dining facilities, including residential dining, retail dining, stadium concession, training table, early childhood education meal production, and catering. The dining services operate seven days a week, seventeen hours a day, employing a diverse staff of 450 full and part-time employees and around 400 Cal student workers at multiple locations.
