Position: Facilities & Maintenance Director

About: The YMCA of Honolulu, a leading nonprofit organization, is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Director to ensure the maintenance of facilities to the highest safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards, specializing in telecommunications equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Requirements: Valid certificate in telecommunications or related field required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; 5+ years experience as a Telecommunications Technician preferred; Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment; Familiarity with IDS and fire alarm systems; Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings; Experience in computer networking; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Availability for emergency situations; Minimum age of 18; Reliable transportation; Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire; CPR, First Aid, and AED certification; State-specific hiring standards and YMCA training completion; Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups; Commitment to inclusion and ADA compliance
