Position: Executive Steward
About: The Golden Nugget, a renowned hotel and casino, is seeking an Executive Steward to oversee staff responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen(s) and food preparation areas. This role involves assisting in equipment and food preparation area cleaning, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
Requirements: At least 2 years of Stewarding Management experience in a similar environment preferred; at least 4 years of Hotel Management experience preferred; experience handling large banquet events of 200 or more; ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to deliver exceptional service creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests; commitment to exceeding position responsibilities to support organizational goals; excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; strong work ethic and teamwork; ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment; strong computer skills including MS Office Suite software; exceptional organization of storage areas and kitchens
