Position: Executive Sous Chef – DFW
About: H-E-B, a well-known grocery store chain, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee kitchen operations for Chef’s Case, Cafe on the Run, and Catering. The role involves making employment-related decisions, managing staff, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring efficient production within budgetary guidelines.
Requirements: 10+ years of chef experience; Proven leadership in a complex environment; Professional culinary training or equivalent experience; Excellent customer service skills; Experience in menu development and costing; Strong communication and organization skills; Familiarity with inventory management, ordering, and automated reporting systems; Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; Supervisory and training experience; Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends; Ability to lead kitchen production in the absence of the Executive Chef
