Position: Executive Sous Chef
About: Waverley Country Club is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to serve as the “second-in-command” of the kitchen, assisting the Executive Chef in supervising food production for all food outlets, banquet events, and other functions at the Club. The role involves overseeing food production personnel and other kitchen staff, ensuring quality and cost standards are consistently attained, and handling various kitchen tasks in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Requirements: Graduate from a culinary arts program at an accredited college or school; ability to present a range of food styles with creativity and seasonality; experience in facilitating food preparation for large banquets; knowledgeable about culinary trends and food styles; self-starter fostering a strong team environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; goal-driven with attention to detail; strong organization and computer skills
