Position: Executive Director
About: Comanche Nation Gaming Commission oversees gaming activity in seven (7) gaming facilities located in Lawton, Devol, Walters, Richard Spur, and Cache, Oklahoma. Established in December 2005 by the Comanche Nation to regulate gaming activities on tribal lands, protect public interest, prevent unlawful conduct, strengthen tribal self-government, and promote economic self-sufficiency. Primary functions include ensuring compliance with federal and tribal gaming laws, conducting background investigations, approving/denying licenses, and ensuring gaming integrity and asset protection.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area and five (5) or more years’ work experience in management, compliance, or regulation in a highly-regulated industry, OR possess a high school diploma and five (5) years’ Executive/Senior management experience in the gaming industry. Demonstrated knowledge of licensing, compliance, and audit requirements for gaming facilities. Ability to build working relationships, maintain records, write correspondence, speak effectively, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
