Position: Executive Chef job
About: Philo Ridge Farm, a certified organic 500-acre farm located in Charlotte, Vermont, is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead their culinary program. The farm, in its tenth year of production, focuses on sustainable farming practices and providing a variety of nutrient-dense foods through its culinary program and market. The Executive Chef will work closely with founder Diana McCargo to create unique farm-to-table experiences inspired by the farm’s seasonal produce and livestock. This role plays a crucial part in the farm’s goal of re-opening the Farm Commons Barn in summer of 2025 and continuing to be a community asset for generations to come.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Proven experience as an Executive Chef or leading culinary operations; Strong knowledge of organic farming practices and farm-to-table concepts; Excellent leadership and team management skills; Ability to develop seasonal menus and work collaboratively with farm teams
