Position: Events Manager
About: New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Event Manager. The Event Manager is responsible for coordinating with Sales, property departments, and customers to ensure excellent service throughout all phases of property events. This role involves event logistics, customer service, leading event management teams, and supporting the sales and marketing function.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of experience in event management or related professional area; OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management or related professional area required. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
