Position: Events and Development Manager
About: Colorado Preservation, Inc. is a nonprofit historic preservation organization founded in 1984, providing advocacy, education, and technical assistance to individuals and communities across Colorado. The Events and Development Manager position plays a critical role in planning and executing the annual Saving Places Conference and the Dana Crawford Awards fundraiser.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum two years proven work-related experience in event planning or fundraising, sales, or marketing; proficiency in time management, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; excellent organizational and time management skills; experience with CVENT; strong customer service skills; experience in marketing and public relations; superb written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; proficiency with donor databases and design software; passion for or background in Colorado history or historic preservation a plus
