Position: Event Coordinator job

About: The Commercial Club of Chicago, a membership organization of senior leaders in the region, and its Civic Committee are dedicated to shaping the Chicago region by addressing social and economic issues, providing leadership, high-quality research, and long-term policy recommendations for the benefit of the city, region, and state. As a critical player in the Chicago community, the Club works alongside organizations like Civic Consulting Alliance, Kids First Chicago, and P33 to tackle key issues and promote social and economic well-being.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience; demonstrated knowledge of events and hospitality industry; superior organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to interface with clients at all levels; skilled in creating accurate documents with minimal oversight; experience working in Salesforce preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and MailChimp; strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities; self-starter with excellent project management and deadline-oriented skills; able to work well in a team environment and handle multiple projects concurrently.
