Position: Event Coordinator job
About: The Delta Center, a venue for live entertainment and sports events, is seeking an Event Coordinator to manage all aspects of events. This role involves coordinating with various departments, producing event information, and ensuring high customer service standards.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; Two to three years of event management experience in a similar type of facility is preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Sports/Facility Management, hospitality, or business-related field preferred; Experience working in a computer network environment utilizing multiple Microsoft, Google Suite, and event management programs; Experience working with CAD Software is preferred; Ability to exercise sound judgment and make proper decisions in handling incidents at all types of events; Ability to plan, service, and supervise a variety of events with the assistance and cooperation of other staff members; Requires evening and weekend work (which could be in excess of 40 hours per week) and the ability to work long flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends and holidays.
