Position: Edgefield Power Station Sous Chef II – Production
About: McMenamins is looking for a Sous Chef II to assist in the management of all food production and oversee prep and dishwashing staff under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous I. The role involves overseeing food production for various outlets, training staff, maintaining portioning guidelines, ordering supplies, and contributing to cost management.
Requirements: Interest in pursuing a career in the culinary arts; Previous management or supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen; Previous culinary experience or education required; Ability to supervise others in a positive and professional manner; Maintain a current Food Handlers card; Ability to interact positively with others; Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a sometimes stressful environment; Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Working knowledge of company policies and procedures
