Position: Director of Conference and Event Services
About: Loyola Marymount University is seeking a Director of Conference and Event Services to provide direct management and leadership for daily operations in the Conference and Event Services department. The role involves overseeing event scheduling, front desk services, event operations, and conference services, as well as developing long-range goals and maintaining relationships with various campus departments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years of event coordination experience in progressively responsible positions; demonstrated knowledge in areas such as understanding the university environment, organization, supervision, and inventory management; ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with diverse populations; exemplary communication skills; highly developed organizational and leadership skills; demonstrated computer competency; in-person position on the LMU Westchester campus
