Position: Custodian/Housekeeper
About: The Shops at Nanuet is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Custodian. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the center’s common areas, including the parking lot, sidewalks, and service areas. Duties also include trash removal and operating equipment like trash compactors.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to read and interpret documents, follow instructions, and communicate effectively; self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; knowledge of safety rules and accident prevention; availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays; valid Driver’s License; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
