Position: Custodian 1 Daytime – Coverage Custodian – 6:00am – 2:30pm (Mon-Fri)
About: This is a full-time 12-month position providing district-wide support. The Coverage Custodian position entails maintaining high standards of custodial responsibilities in the absence of the assigned custodian and requires routine manual labor associated with cleaning and security operations in District facilities.
Requirements: Education level: high school diploma or equivalent; Other Requirements: • Reliable Transportation • Flexibility and willingness to relocate as needed to cover custodian absences • Basic cleaning methods, materials, and equipment knowledge • Ability to organize • Computer proficiency and effective communication skills • Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength • Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment • Ability to follow oral and written instructions • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, staff, students, and the general public • Ability to work overtime as required • Neat and clean appearance • Completion of required training • Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding
