Position: Corporate Sushi & Ramen Chef – Asian Food Production (34848)
About: Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions, a leading recruiting firm in North America with a focus on Japanese businesses for almost 20 years, is seeking an experienced and innovative Corporate Sushi & Ramen Chef to oversee culinary standards, training, and quality control across all kiosks and restaurant locations. The role requires expertise in sushi and ramen preparation to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality in the food service operation. The company works with clients in various industries including Automotive, Electronics, Food & Beverage, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas, with recent expansion to California and the NYC/NJ area collaborating with clients in Banking, Finance, and Entertainment.
Requirements: Minimum 10+ years of experience as a sushi chef or ramen chef in a high-volume restaurant, catering service, or supermarket setting; prior experience in a multi-unit or corporate chef role is highly preferred; strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including sushi preparation, ramen broth making, and noodle cooking; expertise in food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines; excellent training, leadership, and team management skills; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; willingness to travel to multiple locations for training and quality assurance; basic understanding of cost control, pricing strategy, and supply chain management is a plus; Japanese or Korean language skill is preferred but not mandatory
