Position: Cook’s Helper – 2024 – 2025
About: This job posting is for a Cook’s Helper position in a school district. The Cook’s Helper will be responsible for serving attractive and nutritious meals to students in a positive and welcoming environment of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth. They will report to the Kitchen Manager and perform various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance. The role requires regular attendance, familiarity with menus, operation of kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and dining areas.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Over one year up to and including two years food service experience. Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations, ability to handle food temperatures, kitchen equipment, and food presentation. Capability to handle money accurately, follow work schedules, and cooperate with the manager for duty assignments.
