About: A healthcare facility seeking a Food Production Worker who will be responsible for quality food preparation, safe food handling procedures, proper time management, responsible cost controls, training, and guest relations. The role involves following standardized recipes, proper food rotation, maintaining department timeline, recording food production amounts, attending department inservices, contributing to the hospital’s values, and more.
Requirements: Preferred: one year of healthcare/trayline experience; HS diploma or equivalent. Prior cooking experience of 1-2 years preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and/or 20 to 35 pounds frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly. Large amounts of bending, exposure to extreme temperature changes, wet and slippery floors, and various shifts and work positions.
