Position: Concierge (Administrative Receptionist)
About: Atlantic Shores Retirement Community, located in Virginia Beach, is an award-winning continuing care retirement community serving ages 55 and up. They aim to be a welcoming neighborhood promoting active lifestyles, ensuring freedom, dignity, wellness, independence, and security for all residents and staff.
Requirements: Less than high school education; or up to one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred, but not required. Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft software required. Ability to act in a resident’s best interest and make responsible choices and decisions. Ability to be a professional first impression with extraordinary people skills and a warm smile. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), in person, electronically, and over the phone. Organization and time-management skills. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Teams, Outlook, and Excel) and the ability to learn new applications.
