Position: CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver (Hiring Immediately)
About: A company in the transportation industry is seeking dedicated drivers to join their team. Drivers will run daily routes with frequent stops, load and unload packages, and operate in a cross-dock model. Responsibilities include providing technical and customer service, efficient route running, and proper handling of products. The ideal candidate must meet minimum age requirements, pass background checks and drug screenings, hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Physical ability to handle freight and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays are essential. Preferred qualifications include customer delivery, hand cart/truck experience, food and beverage experience, and consistent work history.
Requirements: 21+ years of age; Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen; License to drive – valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record; Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly; Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
