Position: Cashier & Server
About: Black Walnut is a dining establishment that provides delicious food and outstanding handcrafted cocktails with a guest ordering style categorized as fast casual. The roles at Black Walnut’s dining room encompass cashier responsibilities and server duties, where employees are trained to perform both functions. Additional tasks may include working as a greeter, coffee bar attendant, and/or expo staff.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs; ability to be on your feet for 8 hours; computer skills; great people skills; organizational skills; effective time management skills; written and oral communication skills; sense of urgency; ability to deal with upset guests; quick thinker; ability to perform well under stress; ability to motivate fellow partners; willingness to smile and make eye contact with all guests; alcohol server certified
