Position: BEVERAGE SERVER
About: Takes, retrieves and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courteously and efficiently according to job specification. Answers guest questions and provides outstanding guest service. Inspects cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas, greets guests, takes orders, maintains knowledge of liquor brands, abides by state liquor regulations, familiar with all hotel services/features, documents orders, retrieves and serves orders promptly, replaces ashtrays, follows health codes, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Previous experience as a beverage server; One year experience as a beverage server in a bar, lounge, or hotel/casino environment preferred; Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations; Ability to use computers and calculators; Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; Excellent customer service and communication skills; High school diploma or equivalent preferred; At least 21 years of age; Required Work Cards: Alcohol Awareness, Health; Physical Requirements: Walk, stand or stoop up to 100% of the time, walk, stand, and/or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces, frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds, use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, work inside in a noisy, smoky, and hot or cold environment, literacy, speech, vision, and hearing critical
