Position: Bench Chef
About: The Bench Chef position is available at a hotel or restaurant, focusing on supporting special projects like openings, re-concepts, and assisting in properties with Culinary leadership vacancies.
Requirements: Associates of Culinary Arts or Business Administrative; knowledge of current local health department regulations, Corporate HACCP, Food Safety SOP’s, and Federal Guidelines; ability to manage all food preparation areas including ordering, preparing, marketing, executing recipes, and ensuring Food safety and Sanitation compliance; experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and managing culinary staff; proficiency in organizing, overseeing, and managing food prep operations; familiarity with accounting procedures, inventory management, payroll, and P&L critiques; mentorship skills for career development and advancement
