Position: Barback – Soho House Portland (Seasonal)
About: At Soho House, a seasonal barback (05/12-10/01/2025) is responsible for assisting the bartenders in providing quality service to all guests. The Barback ensures efficiency behind the bar by stocking items for quick access and delivery, cleaning and maintaining the bar, and supporting the bartenders to ensure smooth bar operations in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year working in F&B operation or eager to learn and passionate to deliver results; ability to understand and follow instructions; detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment; basic verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and work well under pressure; must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands; must be able to work on feet for at least 8 hours; must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds; occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required
