Position: Banquet Event Coordinator/Manager
About: Pelazzio Reception Venue is seeking an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team! We host a variety of events, including weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings. As an Event Coordinator, you’ll assist clients with planning and overseeing the execution of their events, coordinating staff, vendors, and facility needs to ensure a flawless experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in event planning or coordination; availability to work weekdays and weekends, with an emphasis on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus; proficient computer skills (Windows, Excel, CRM; Zoho experience is a plus); strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent customer service with a positive attitude; professional, polished appearance; ability to multi-task, work independently, and solve problems under pressure; experience in overseeing and managing staff and vendors; detail-oriented and organized; must live within a 10-mile or 15-minute radius of Pelazzio; flexible schedule to accommodate weekday and weekend shifts, especially weekend evenings
