About: At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy, our focus is on patient-centered care. As a level I trauma center and academic medical center campus, we are dedicated to healing the body, mind, and spirit of every individual in a comfortable and less stressful hospital environment. Our comprehensive medical services include trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.
Requirements: Required: Serv-Safe Certification within 24 months; Good cooking skills with restaurant or institutional background; Ability to read and write; Ability to calculate amounts of ingredients when adjusting recipes. Ability to interpret written instructions and follow through with oral instructions; Complete Food Services Sanitation class or inservice. Preferred: 5 years of progressive food service experience or Culinary Arts Degree from a recognized culinary school with three years of experience.
