Position: Assistant Director- Conference and Event Services
About: NDSU Conference and Event Services at North Dakota State University, a student-focused, land-grant, research university, is seeking an Assistant Director to manage conference and event services for the Memorial Union and various campus spaces, including the McGovern Alumni Center. This role involves overseeing Summer Conferences, supervising Event Services staff, expertly utilizing event management software, managing budgets, developing policies, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; Three years of event management experience; Two years of customer service experience; Experience with advanced Microsoft Word and Excel; Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; Organizational, leadership, and customer service skills; Critical thinking and project coordination abilities; Ability to work with diverse audiences
