Position: Assistant Cook – ONBOARD Pride of America

We’re conducting virtual interviews on September 7th to find exceptional cooks who can elevate our guests’ dining experiences as we sail through the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands on the Pride of America Cruise Ship.
Requirements: Culinary school degree or equivalent training in the art of the culinary craft; Minimum of one year of experience working in a high volume kitchen on a cruise ship, at a hotel, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment; Strong command of the English language for effective communication; Proficiency in various cooking techniques including roasting, broiling, sautéing, frying, grilling, pastry baking, sauce creation, and cold food preparation; Ability to scale recipes from serving 8 to catering for larger groups; Emphasis on presentation and taste perfection
