Position: Artisan Baker
About: The District, located at 11453 S Pkwy Plaza Dr in South Jordan, Utah, United States of America, is seeking an Artisan Baker to maintain quality standards and product levels of all fresh baked artisan bread products in the bakery. The role involves mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking artisan breads, as well as providing exceptional customer service to patrons.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of baking experience preferred; Current Food Handler’s Permit; enjoys working with and handling artisan breads and dough; enjoys cooking and eating a variety of artisan bread products; ability to read and follow a recipe; basic math skills used to half or double recipes; knowledge of baking procedures and times; ability to interpret policies and procedures; excellent organization and planning skills; solid communication skills; ability to make logical decisions; possess integrity, a positive attitude, and be mission-driven; ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
