Job Requirements

must be able to lift 50lbs
can be on your feet for an 8 hour shift
weekend availability required
able to work full-time or part-time shifts between 9am and 8pm
must have previous cooking experience
ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

1-2 years of cooking experience preferred
has a love and care for food and quality
calm under pressure
is able to work independently and as part of a team
completes training passports within the expected timeframe
arrives on time for all shifts, classes, and huddles

Job Duties

prepares food according to our recipes and sop's, accurately and under pressure
maintains proper station set up and a pristine work area
effectively communicates and works with all staff at the deli
familiar with industry practices
works with a sense of urgency
helps to continually improve kitchen systems, culture and environment
able to handle a high volume of work for long periods of time
