Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment up to 200 lbs
- ability to hand-sort waste
- willingness to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- punctuality and reliability
- positive work attitude
- ability to maintain low contamination rates
- ability to take direction from multiple teams
- good teamwork skills

- bilingual (English and Spanish) encouraged
Job Duties
- Hand-sort waste
- separate items into their various streams including landfill, compostable, bottles and cans, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass
- open every item within every trash bag before sorting
- complete mandatory checklists before leaving each shift
- follow directions from Hawks, Pritchard, and Levy employees
- maintain low contamination rates
- work collaboratively with all departments
