Job Requirements

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment

Job Qualifications

At least an intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits
Knowledge of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish wines is a plus
Experience in high volume hospitality environments preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Passion for innovative beverage creation and continuous learning

Job Duties

Exceed guests' expectations by providing an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary and beverage experience paired with impeccable service and a genuine sense of hospitality
Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates
Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails
Embrace an active and innovative approach to expanding knowledge of food and beverage through continuous learning and discovery
Articulate appealing descriptions of menu items, explaining ingredients, cooking methods and suggestive beverage pairings
Participate in research and development of cocktail creations with the team
Maintain expected steps of service during high volume peak hours
Demonstrate at least an intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits
Utilize knowledge of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish wines as a plus
