Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of sports
  • One or more years of experience working with children
  • Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems
  • Current state approved first-aid certification
  • Current state approved infant/child or community CPR certification

Job Duties

  • Assist in delivery of culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate youth sports activities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to youth sports instructors, referees, and volunteers
  • Engage professionally with parents and guardians to communicate about their child’s experience and upcoming programs
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are clean, safe, properly set up, and stored
  • Report equipment problems to supervisor
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
