Job Requirements

  • minimum 6 months food service experience preferred
  • minimum 6 months hospitality experience with knowledge of food, wine, and spirits
  • 21 years or older
  • food handler certification required
  • tips certification desirable
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • must be able to obtain a TWIC and MMC
  • experience with a point of service (POS) system
  • days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts available
  • flexible schedule required

Job Duties

  • organize and multitask proactively with strong attention to detail
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of supply and storage areas
  • exercise good judgment and flexibility in changing situations
  • collaborate with operations team and back of house staff
  • multitask and work at a fast pace while maintaining poise
  • set up and break down dining room, prep areas, and equipment
  • accurately take and relay food and beverage orders
  • demonstrate broad knowledge of fine dining setup and service
  • follow established cash handling procedures
  • serve food and beverage orders promptly
  • check identification for alcohol orders from customers who appear under 30
  • maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • assist with vessel preparation and closure
  • load and unload food and supplies
  • maintain grooming and uniform standards
  • ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • assist back of house staff in equipment breakdown and yacht cleaning
  • attend safety meetings and follow safety and security protocols
  • perform additional duties as assigned
