Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months food service experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 months hospitality experience with knowledge of food, wine, and spirits
  • 21 years or older
  • Food handler certification required
  • TIPS certification desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC and MMC
  • Experience with a Point of Service (POS) system
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide quality dining and attentive service to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all supply and storage areas
  • Exercise good judgment, flexibility, creativity, and sensitivity to changing situations and needs
  • Work and collaborate with operations and back-of-house teams to create amazing guest experiences
  • Set up and break down dining rooms, prep areas, equipment, and stations for events
  • Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders
  • Follow established cash handling procedures
  • Serve patrons food and beverage orders quickly and properly
  • Check ID on customers ordering alcohol under 30 years old
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings
  • Assist with vessel preparation and closure
  • Load and unload food and supplies onto boats
  • Maintain grooming practices and uniform standards
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment according to health codes
  • Follow safety and security protocols on vessel
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned
