Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months food service experience preferred
  • minimum 6 months hospitality experience with knowledge of food, wine, and spirits
  • age 21 years or older
  • food handler certification required
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • must be able to obtain TWIC and MMC
  • experience with a point of sale (POS) system
  • flexible schedule required including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of supply and storage areas
  • multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
  • set up and break down dining rooms, prep areas, and equipment for events
  • accurately take and relay food and beverage orders
  • demonstrate broad knowledge of fine dining setup and service
  • follow cash handling procedures
  • serve food and beverages promptly according to established protocols
  • check identification for customers ordering alcohol who appear under 30
  • maintain punctual and regular attendance
  • assist with vessel preparation and closure
  • load and unload food and supplies onto boats
  • maintain grooming and uniform standards
  • ensure a clean and safe work environment per health codes
  • assist in breaking down equipment and cleaning the yacht after shifts
  • participate in safety meetings
  • follow safety and security policies
  • perform additional job duties as assigned
