Job Description

Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa is an upscale Southwestern resort located on 80 scenic acres in the Sonoran Desert. Established in 1912 as a hacienda-style home, the resort artfully combines historic charm with modern luxury amenities. The property features 241 guest rooms, each offering private balconies with stunning desert views. Guests enjoy onsite amenities including multiple dining options, the renowned Sonoran Spa, three pristine pools, hot tubs, and horseback-accessible nature trails. Situated near natural attractions such as Sabino Canyon and Saguaro National Park, as well as popular shopping venues like Tucson Mall, the resort draws a diverse clientele of leisure travelers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The ambiance is that of a picturesque resort environment, perfect for team members who take pride in delivering warm, high-touch hospitality and exquisite guest experiences.

As a Food & Beverage Manager at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable dining experiences for guests. This overtime eligible manager (OEM) position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team responsible for all aspects of food and beverage service throughout the resort's diverse venues, including lounge and banquet settings. Your role will involve fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere while coaching and mentoring staff to ensure smooth daily operations. You will uphold the highest standards for safety, grooming, and compliance certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Beyond frontline leadership, you will take charge of important administrative duties, including payroll management, staff scheduling, and detailed productivity reporting. Maintaining excellent food quality and creating engaging promotions will be key responsibilities alongside overseeing inventory and beverage purchasing. Communication is critical in this role, as you address guest requests and resolve concerns promptly to maximize satisfaction. Your versatility will shine as you analyze operational reports, participate in management meetings, and step into various roles to keep the team moving with positive energy.

Candidates applying for this position should have a minimum of 5 years of progressive hospitality experience or hold a relevant college degree paired with related work history. Proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software is essential, along with strong financial and arithmetic skills. Supervisory experience is preferred, coupled with excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate remains composed under pressure and demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Joining Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa means becoming part of a team that values high standards, genuine hospitality, and continuous growth. After an initial waiting period, full-time employees become eligible for a competitive benefits package designed to support their health, well-being, and financial future. With daily pay options, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, both short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan, this position offers not only a rewarding career but also peace of mind.
