B&B Theatres is a well-established and respected entertainment company, known for providing exceptional movie-going experiences across its many locations. Renowned for its commitment to guest satisfaction and creating magical moments through the power of film, B&B Theatres elevates the traditional theatre experience by combining innovative technologies with warm, friendly service. As a family-oriented company, B&B Theatres places a high value on integrity, joy, innovation, and fun, creating a workplace culture where employees can thrive and feel part of a community dedicated to delivering unforgettable memories for guests.
Within this vibrant, dynamic environment, the Runner position plays an indispensable role in bridging the gap between kitchen operations and front-of-house services. This full-time or part-time role is foundational to the successful functioning of the theatre's food service, directly impacting guest satisfaction through efficient delivery and meticulous support in food preparation. The Runner supports kitchen staff by assisting with basic food prep and ensures that all orders are expediently delivered to guests while maintaining safety and quality standards. With theatres open every day of the year, including holidays, flexibility in scheduling is necessary for this role.
The Runner helps maintain a clean and organized dining environment, promotes excellent communication between kitchen staff and servers, and provides timely responses to guest needs, including offering additional orders and beverage refills. Their proactive involvement not only supports operational excellence but also contributes to creating the joyful and memorable entertainment experience that B&B Theatres is known for. Candidates for this position should be prepared for a fast-paced work setting that demands teamwork, multitasking, and a positive attitude. Stamina and the ability to handle physical tasks, such as transporting trays and lifting moderately heavy items, are also essential.
The ideal Runner is someone with a positive, proactive mindset who understands hygiene and food safety practices. While prior experience in entry-level food service roles is preferred, enthusiastic individuals willing to learn and grow within the company are encouraged to apply. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while always prioritizing guest satisfaction. Food handling certification may be required depending on local regulations, underscoring B&B Theatres’ dedication to health and safety.
By joining B&B Theatres as a Runner, employees become part of a collaborative and supportive team, delivering not just food but the magic of movies and remarkable entertainment. This role offers the chance to develop skills within the hospitality sector while enjoying the energy and excitement of a theatre environment. With a strong emphasis on core values such as family, fun, and integrity, employees find professional fulfillment in contributing to a company that celebrates both its patrons and its people.
