Job Requirements

  • fully vaccinated for Covid-19
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • unencumbered state of Illinois CNA certificate
  • CPR certification
  • ability to assist with resident care tasks including lifting and repositioning
  • willingness to learn and develop wound care skills
  • commitment to patient safety and quality care

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • unencumbered state of Illinois CNA certificate
  • CPR certification
  • one year of CNA and/or wound care technician experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a healthcare team

Job Duties

  • assist the treatment nurse and wound care team with delivery of wound care services
  • assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning residents during wound care
  • observe and report changes in resident condition
  • ensure a safe environment for residents
  • maintain education and awareness on wound care procedures
  • communicate effectively with healthcare team and residents
  • document wound care activities accurately
