About the Role: Crusoe is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Workplace Manager to lead operations for their rapidly expanding San Francisco office. This full-time, in-office position requires on-site presence five days a week in San Francisco. In this highly visible and hands-on role, the Workplace Manager partners closely with the Regional Workplace Manager and various cross-functional teams including People, IT, Security, and Finance, to oversee daily office operations and support the office's expansion efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exceptional workplace experience to a swiftly growing employee population, acting as a steward of operational excellence and team leadership. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, facilities, and building management coordination while ensuring cost efficiency and high service standards. The Workplace Manager will also lead and develop a team of Workplace Coordinators, manage budget and resource planning, and be the primary contact for emergency responses or building-related issues. Beyond daily operations, this role demands strong operational judgment, autonomy, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on building scalable workplace policies, processes, and programs that foster collaboration and productivity at the office. Salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $145,000 annually plus bonus, and includes restricted stock units along with a comprehensive benefits package. Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years of relevant experience in workplace management or similar roles

Job Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of experience in workplace facilities or office operations roles within fast-paced growth-oriented organizations
  • Demonstrated experience owning day-to-day office operations and supporting office growth or expansion initiatives
  • Strong vendor management and facilities oversight experience
  • Experience managing budgets and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with People IT Security and Finance teams
  • Highly organized proactive and detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating autonomously and making sound decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach and develop teams

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily workplace operations for the San Francisco office ensuring smooth functionality high service standards and a consistently positive employee experience
  • Partner closely with People IT Security Finance and other business leaders to support onboarding headcount planning workplace technology and operational alignment
  • Lead relationships with landlords building management and third-party vendors to oversee janitorial food and beverage facilities and event vendors
  • Manage and oversee Workplace Coordinators supporting the San Francisco office providing guidance and ensuring consistent execution of workplace programs vendor coordination and employee experience initiatives
  • Support office expansions and space planning
  • Manage the San Francisco workplace budget identifying opportunities to optimize operational costs while maintaining high standards
  • Oversee the end-to-end visitor experience managing front-of-house operations visitor management platform and cross-functional coordination
  • Plan and execute San Francisco-based employee events and workplace programs
  • Manage food and beverage programming including daily meals and snack programs with ownership of budgets and vendors
  • Design and implement scalable workplace policies documentation and operational workflows
  • Act as primary point of contact for building-related issues and emergencies including after-hours response when needed
